The Canadian Center for Occupational Health and Safety is widely known for its inquiry service, the backbone of the OSH Answers site.  Also available are many excellent database products including legislation, RTECS, and MSDS's which are available by subscription either online or on CD-ROM.  The CD-ROM produced in conjunction with Worker's  Compensation in BC is an excellent and economical source for CSA standards.   CCOHS also runs the excellent HS-Canada discussion list and maintains a good catalogue of internet Health and Safety Resources here.

L'Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail was created in 1980 to contribute, through research, to the prevention of occupational injuries and diseases and the rehabilitation of affected workers. Its mandate is to ensure the development and dissemination of the scientific knowledge needed to achieve these goals.  The site provides a host of information in French and English.

These methods have been developed or adapted by NIOSH or its partners and have been evaluated according to established experimental protocols and performance criteria. NMAM also includes chapters on quality assurance, sampling, portable instrumentation, etc.
